File Uploader (ShareX and others)
Upload files to owf.gay directly from a screenshot/clip tool instead of using the website: ready-made configs for ShareX, MagicCap, KShare and ShareNix, or the settings for any other tool that supports custom uploaders.
ShareX
- Download the config below.
- In ShareX: Destinations > Custom uploader settings > Import > from file, select the downloaded
.sxcu. - Set it as your active Image/Text/File uploader (Destinations menu).
- uploads return /e/ links, which Discord and other apps show as a meta embed of the file itself (images, video and audio).

} Legacy config - for ShareX v12.
MagicCap (macOS, Linux)
MagicCap uses ShareX configs directly: download the ShareX config above, then in MagicCap pick the ShareX uploader and set SXCU File Path to the downloaded .sxcu.
KShare (Windows, macOS, Linux)
Put the downloaded .uploader file in KShare's uploaders folder - ~/.config/KShare/uploaders on Linux, %LOCALAPPDATA%\KShare\uploaders on Windows, ~/Library/Preferences/KShare/uploaders on macOS - restart KShare and choose it as the uploader.
ShareNix (Linux)
A complete sharenix.json with owf.gay as the default image and file uploader - save it as ~/.config/sharenix/sharenix.json. If you already have one, copy the owf.gay entry into its Services list and point DefaultFileUploader/DefaultImageUploader at it.
Any other uploader
Other tools with custom uploader support just need these settings:
- Request:
POSTtohttps://owf.gay/a/1/u/s, body multipart/form-data - File form field name:
f - Response: the link itself, as plain text (in ShareX terms, URL =
{response})
Full endpoint details are on the API page.
